Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularization with the respondent (BBMB) keeping in view the regularization made in the year 2012 as per the rules and instructions issued by the State of Punjab.

2 Last opportunity had been granted to the counsel for the petitioner to address arguments in terms of the order dated 24.07.2023 wherein it was specifically noticed that that the case of the petitioners is not covered by the Policy of 2012 because petitioners had not completed 10 years of service on 31.12.2006, and hence were not eligible for regularization.

3 The matter was thereafter, adjourned to 09.10.2023 on which date the petitioner circulated a written request for adjournment. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on 14.12.2023 and the matter was thereafter adjourned to 05.08.2024. On 11.11.2024, last opportunity was granted to the counsel for the petitioner to address arguments.

Even on the resumed hearing today, there has been no representation on behalf of the petitioners despite the case having been called twice.
