Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 31.03.2025 passed by respondent No.2 whereby the services of the petitioner have been ordered to be terminated.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the petitioner had admitted to the blame for illegal cutting of trees on the asking of private respondents and that the amount of Rs.1,42,983/- was infact actually deposited by the said private respondents but in the name of the petitioner.

On being confronted that the aforesaid plea would at best be a plea of defence giving rise to disputed questions of facts, counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the instant writ petition so as to take recourse to appropriate alternative remedies available in accordance with law.
