P rayer in the petition is for the issuance of appropriate directio n to responden t No.1 to grant the benefit of 5 years’ experience of qualifyin g superannuati o n under Rule 4.2A of the Punja b Civil Services Rules, Volume - II for pensio n and DCRG.

L earned counsel for the petition e r submits that the petitioner ha s already filed a representation on 11.11.2022 , praying for grant of five year s experience t o be added towards qualifying superannuation under Rule 2.4 A of the Punjab Civil Services Rules, Volume- I I, for pension and gratuity. It i s submitted th a t though sufficient time has expired yet the competent authorit y has not exam i ned the petitioner’s claim in tha t regard.

In that view of the matter and without commenting upon the merits of the claim raised by the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition with direction to second respondent to accord consideration to the petitioner’s claim by passing reasoned order within three months. Liberty stands reserved to the petitioner to submit a fresh comprehensive representation along with other documents in support of his claim together with a copy of this order, within two weeks from today.
