The prayer in the petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.04 dated 15.01.2025 under Sections 316, 318(4), 351(3), 61(2), BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Banur, District Mohali (Police District Patiala).

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 07.02.2025 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of orders dated 07.02.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

The counsel for the complainant has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail but concedes that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 07.02.2025 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
