The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 seeking regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.1 dated 02.01.2025, under Section 316(2), 318(4) of BNS and Section 24 of Immigration Act, registered at Police Station Sohana, SAS Nagar.

Vide order dated 20.05.2025, this Court granted the interim regular bail to the petitioner to enable him to bring a demand draft in the sum of Rs.14,00,000/- in favour of the complainant, which is a pre-requisite condition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a copy of the order dated 22.05.2025 showing that the petitioner has fulfilled the condition and handed over three demand drafts to the complainant for a total sum of Rs.14,00,000/-. The relevant extract of the order read as under:-

“As per order dated 20.05.2025 passed by Hon'ble High Court, learned counsel for the accused handed over three demand drafts on behalf of the accused to the complainant for a total sum of Rs. 14,00,000/-, vide separate statement of both the parties recorded. The requisite bail/surety bonds furnished, which are accepted and attested. Release warrants of applicant/accused Nitname Singh be issued forthwith. Application stands disposed of. Papers alongwith bonds be sent back to the concerned Court.”

In the light of above, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is

The petitioner is hereby directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing same surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court/Cheif Judicial Magistrate, concerned.
