T h e present petition has been filed under 528 of Bharatiy a Nagarik Sura k sha Sanhita, 2023 (for short - ‘BNSS’) seeking issuance o f appropriate dir e ctions to the official responde n ts to conduct fair investigatio n in the present c ase as the son of the petitioner has been murdered with furthe r prayer to decid e the representation dated 24.02 . 2025 (Annexure P-1).

A t the very outset, learned counse l for the petitioners restricted hi s prayer and h as submitted that the petit i oners have recently filed a representation on 24.02.2025 before the Se n ior Superintendent of Police , Ferozepur (An n exure P-1) raising their grieva n ces as mentioned in the presen t petition but th e same has not yet been conside r ed and no action has been take n thereon. He f u rther submitted that at this s t age, the petitioners would b e satisfied if ap p ropriate directions are issue d to respondent No. 2- Senio r Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to decide t he aforesaid representation file d by the petition e rs and take necessary action the r eon.
