Prayer in this petition is for initiation of contempt proceedi n gs against the respondent for n o t complying the order dated 05.4.202 5 (Annexure P-1) passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in C WP-9778-2025 titled as “Yog e sh Dalal and others vs. State of Harya n a and others” vide which the p e tition was disposed of with a direction as follows :-

“….With the c onsent of the parties, the present petition is ac c ordingly disposed of without commenting on the m e rits of the present case and with a direction to respondent No.2-Director, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Haryana to take note of the representation dated 01.03.2025 (Annexur e P-4) sent by the petitioners and to pass a well r e asoned and speaking order

thereupon after grant i ng an opportunity of hearing to the respective par t ies in accordance with law and preferably withi n a period of 01 month from the date of receipt of c ertified copy of this order.

Needless to m e ntion that in the event the entitlement of the pet i tioners is established as per law, the necessary fi n ancial benefits be released expeditiously and p r eferably within a further period of 03 weeks.

In the event o f non-payment of dues within the said period, the s a me shall be released to the petitioners along wit h interest @ 6% per annum for the delayed perio d .”

Short reply dated 29.7.2 0 25 by way of additional affidavit of Shri Shekhar Vidyarthi, D irector General, Fire and Emergen c y Services, Haryana, Panch k ula has been filed in the Registry, which is annexed with the file. Copy thereof is supplied to learned c o unsel for the petitioners. Regi s try to tag/paginate the same at approp r iate place in the paper-book.

It is admitted by learned co u nsel for the petitioners that the direc t ion of this Court as contained i n the order dated 05.4.2025 (Annexu r e P-1) has been complied with and a Speaking Order dated 28.7.202 5 (Annexure A-2) has been passed by the respondentauthority .

Learned counsel for the peti t ioner prays that accordingly, the prese n t petition has been rendered i n fructuous and the same may be dispo s ed of as such. However, liberty may be granted to the petitione r s to seek remedy as per law.
