The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 06.03.2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CRWP-2018-2024.

The Division Bench of this Court had issued the following order dated 06.03.2024 in CRWP-2018-2024:-

“5 . If so, the requisite verificatory processes be ensured to be completed within a week, inasmuch as, the submission of report by the District Magistrate, North Delhi, be done within a week from today, and, on receipt of the said report, the competent authority is directed to within ten days thereafter, make a well speaking decision on the applicant’s parole application.”
