Kanwar Singh and Anr. Vs State of Haryana and Ors.

Seeking direction to the police authorities to register an FIR against the private respondents, the petitioners have come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be contended and satisfied if the petitioners are permitted to make a represent to respondent no.2 and he be directed to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation to respondent no.2-DGP, Haryana within 15 days from today. In case any such representation is filed within fifteen days from today, the same shall be decided by respondent no.2 himself/herself or by delegating the same to any officer not below the rank of IPS, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. The order so passed be communicated to the petitioners on the email ID as well.

Petition is disposed of to the extent mentioned above . All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
