Seeking directions to official respondents No.2 & 3 to transfer the investigation in the FIR captioned above, to any other police station, the petitioner has come up before this court by filing the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be contended and satisfied if directions are issued to decide representation dated 06.09.2024 (Annexure P- 6) within the time bound manner.

Notices are served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of official respondents nor the issuance of notices to the private respondents is required.

Let the representation dated 06.09.2024 (Annexure P-6) be decided by the Director General of Police, within 30 days from today, either himself/herself or by authorizing and delegating it to any officer holding IPS cadre. It is clarified that such order must be a reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the representationists as well as his counsel without delay and through e-mail, which the petitioner’s counsel would give to the State counsel today itself.
