“That during the course of investigation, co-accused Harshpal was interrogated and on interrogation, he suffered disclosure- statement and disclosed to the effect that" Some time ago I met Gurdeep (petitioneraccused) son of Balbir Singh son of Bahadur Singh of our own village, who told me that he brings and sells heroin and by selling it. I also got greedy and yesterday i.e. on 09.05.2024 in the morning, I met Gurdeep (petitioner-accused) near the cremation ground of our village and I got convinced by his words and bought 05.50 grams of heroin from Gurdeep (petitioner-accused) for Rs. 10,000 from near the cremation ground of our village and to sell it, I was going from our house towards Hasanga road. When I reached the road going from our village to Hansga, I saw a police vehicle in front and on seeing the police party, I turned back and started walking towards my village and police caught me with 05.50 grams of heroin ". True translation of the disclosure statement of co-accused Harshpal is enclosed herewith as Annexure R-1 for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble High Court. In pursuance of his disclosure statement, co-accused Harshpal got demarcated the place from where he purchased recovered contraband from the present petitioner-accused Gurdeep Singh.”
