By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the official respondents No.1 to 5 to take appropriate action on the legal representation (Annexure P-1) as regards conducting of fair and impartial investigation in FIR No.140 dated 07.05.2020 registered under Sections 384, 465, 467, 468, 471, 473, 489 IPC, Section 25 of Arms Act and Sections 13 and 18 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (Sections 120-B, 482, 121, 121-A/122 IPC and 19 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 added later on) at Police Station Sultanpur Lodhi, District Kapurthala.
Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer informs that investigation in the aforementioned FIR already stands concluded with the filing of challan followed by framing of charges and even discharge application filed at the instance of one of the accused namely Maninder Pal Singh @ Happy is pending consideration before the Trial Court.
