Prayer in this petition filed u n der Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing F IR No. 45 dated 06.03.2015 ( A nnexure P-1) registered under Sections 452, 448, 427, 354, 323, 148 a nd 149 IPC at Police Station Division N o. 8, Jalandhar and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
At the very outset, learned c o unsel for the State by placing on record a copy of judgment of convicti o n and order of sentence dated 22.05.202 4 , passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, submits t h at the instant petition has bee n rendered infructuous, as the petitioner a long with his co-accused was c o nvicted and sentenced vide the aforesaid j u dgment.
Learned counsel for the p e titioner has not disputed the aforesaid submission of learned counsel f o r the State and submits that the instant pet i tion may be disposed of, as hav i ng been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
