Then, on 19.08.2023 itself, Paramjit Kaur, mother of aforesaid Baljinder Singh alias Happy was called in the office of S.T.F. Barnala, upon which complainant Ramandeep Singh and his sister-in-law (bhabhi) Smt. Paramjit Kaur reached in the aforesaid office of S.T.F. and met ASI Satwinder Singh. Aforesaid Satwinder Singh made them aware that yesterday evening on 18.8.2023 we have apprehended your son aforesaid Baljinder Singh from Anaj Mandi, Barnala while taking drug 'chi�a' and FIR is to be registered against him and if you want to get your son spared, then, you will have to pay Rs. 02 lacs to him as bribe money. They made requests to ASI Satwinder Singh for less money as bribe money, upon which ASI Satwinder Singh stated that you will have to pay him Rs.1,20,000/- within two hours, otherwise, he would register FIR qua 'chi�a' against you and your son, upon which they, on the same day, by Selling swi@ car bearing no. PB-19-T-5340 model 2012 which was registered in the name of Paramjit Kaur, to Gurpreet Singh, Partner M/s Guru Nanak Company, Bhagta Bhaika against a sum of Rs. 01 lac and by obtaining Rs.70,000/- in cash, gave it to ASI Satwinder Singh, as a bribe money on reaching Balmiki Chowk, Barnala. At that #me Gurpreet Singh alias Happy son of Shri Sukhwinder Singh, resident of Bhadalwad, Tehsil and District Barnala, who is brotherin-law (wife's brother) of A.S.I Satwinder Singh, in rela#on, was also accompanying him, who, before making mee#ng, had already taken away their mobile phones. A@er receiving the aforesaid amount, ASI Satwinder Singh made demand for more money from them upon on 20.08.2023 they a@er procuring Rs. 30,000/- from Gurpreet Singh, partner M/s Guru Nanak Finance, on that very day, on reaching Barnala Court, gave to ASI Satwinder Singh and then, when they asked for taking their son Baljinder Singh alias Happy at home, then, ASI Satwinder Singh stated that s#ll an amount of Rs. 20,000/- is due and you may take away your son a@er making that payment. Then, on next day on dated 21.8.2023 phone call from the mobile phone no. 90419-94593 of aforesaid Gurpreet Singh alias Happy was received on the mobile phone of complainant Ramandeep Singh and he asserted to bring money and not to transfer through google pay, the recording of which was made by the complainant in his mobile phone whose Self a�ested audio transcript is a�ached as (Annexure 1).
