Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it is only today, that a copy of letter dated 15.12.2021 has been communicated to him through WhatsApp, whereby salary of the petitioners for the corresponding period they had rendered their serviceshas already been sanctioned.
Copy of the letter has been tendered in course of hearing, which is taken on record and marked as Annexure ‘A’.In view thereof, no further proceedings are warranted.
Writ petition is disposed of with an expectation that pursuant to the sanction order/letter dated 15.12.2021, salary shall be remitted within 30 days from today. Since the petitionerswere deprived of their salary for no fault of theirs, therefore, they shall also be entitled to the arrears of salary along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date their salary became due every month, till the date of actual payment.
Disposed of accordingly.
