A perusal of the written reply goes to show that the local police had contacted the petitioners and got their statements recorded that they no longer apprehend danger at the hands of private respondents and do not require any police protection and further during the enquiry allegations regarding threat perception were found to be false.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Under the circumstances, the petition stands dismissed.
