Kaur states that the local police has recorded statement of petitioner No. 1 Sangeeta, who has stated that she does not have any apprehension of threat to her life and liberty at the hands of the private respondents.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners in the Court today. It seems that the petitioners are not interested in further prosecution of the petition, therefore, the same stands dismissed for nonprosecution.
