The case is taken up today for hearing.
Learned counsel for the appellant states that this appeal has become infructuous since on completion of sentence the appellant has been released from jail. He has placed on file photocopy of certificate issued by Superintendent Maximum Security Jail, Nabha in that regard.
Learned State counsel concedes this fact. She has placed on file custody certificate of the appellant showing that on completion of sentence the appellant has been released from jail on 25.3.2009. He has paid fine of Rs.3000/at jail gate.
In that way, the present appeal has become infructuous and is
dismissed accordingly.
