The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation of FIR No. 364 dated 08.11.2017 under Sections 376, 506, 120-B IPC, Registered at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur and further to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the accused persons. In this regard the petitioner has also approached the authorities by filing representations dated 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-2) and 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-3).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.3 be directed to look into the representations dated 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-2) and 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-3) and take action in accordance with law, in a time bound manner.

Mrs. Anju Arora, learned Addl. Advocate General, Punjab who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Three copies of the petition be handed over to her by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. She submits that representations dated 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-2) and 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-3) will be decided within a period of four weeks.

Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide representations dated 20.11.2017 (Annexure P-2) and 22.11.2017 (Annexure P-3), within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
