The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reserve the plots under oustee quota for the petitioners as their land have been acquired for Sector Nos. 2, 4, 11, 12 and 21 of Panchkula for residential as well as commercial purpose. Further prayers have also been made to stay the auction proceedings of the plots which is to be auctioned on 20.10.2016 (Annexure P-21) and to allot the plots to the petitioners before auction.

petitioner which were acquired in the year 1976, the copy of the notification vide which the land was acquired and the copy of the award. He prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file fresh one on the same cause of action by furnishing correct and better particulars.
