On our asking, Ms.Kirti Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Let five copies of the writ petition be supplied to the State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution.
In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from the respondents at this stage.
The petitioners are residents of village Taraori, Tehsil and District Karnal. Their grievance is two-folds. Firstly, they are aggrieved by reduction of total wards for the purpose

of ensuring Gram Panchayat elections and secondly, they assail the revised electoral rolls published in the year 2015.
We find from the record that the aggrieved petitioners submitted their objection-cum-complaints against both the above-stated decisions and such objection-cumcomplaints have been forwarded by the State Election Commission, Haryana to the Deputy Commissioner-CumDistrict Election Officer, Karnal vide memo dated 22.07.2015, 31.08.2015 and 10.09.2015, respectively. This fact has been duly communicated by the Commission vide letter dated 17.09.2015 (P-6) addressed to one of the petitioner.
In these circumstances and without expressing any views on the merits of the allegations, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner-cumDistrict Election Officer, Karnal, that if the above-mentioned objection-cum-complaints are still pending consideration, let the same be decided on merits and by way of a reasoned order before the Gram Panchayat elections are held. If any decision has already been taken on those objection-cumcomplaints, let a copy of the same be supplied to the petitioners within the above-stated period.
