that both of them were arrested on production warrants on 21.10.2014 and that nothing has been recovered from them.

Contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioners Mr.Gurvinder S. Sidhu and Mr. Kamaljeet S. Mamrat, Advocates that the petitioners are in custody since long time and there is no evidence to link them with the commission of offence and that similarly placed co;accused have already been granted regular bail, could not be controverted by learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Surinder Singh, who has squarely conceded to the fact that till date nothing has come out against the petitioners during investigations.

In view of the principle of parity and the fact that the investigation/trial will take a long time to conclude, this Court without going into the merits of the case, is of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioners behind bars in the present case. Accordingly, both the petitioners are ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of trial Court.

The present petitions stand disposed off accordingly.
