The petitioner has served the notice dated 13.10.2013 on the respondents for constituting Welfare Fund for Clerks of the Advocates on the lines of Advocates' Welfare Fund, for States of Punjab and Haryana and Union Territory of Chandigarh. It is stated that in the States of Kerala, Orissa and Tamil Nadu, there is such a Statute, which can be a model. It has

also been stated that the Ministry of Law had already circulated to all the States and Union Territories `The Advocates' Clerks Welfare Fund Bill, 2011', but necessary action would have to be taken by the States.

We, thus, direct the two States to consider the representation

dated 13.10.2013 and examine the feasibility of social legislation in this behalf, in view of model already available and existing in three States.

The response be sent to the petitioner within a maximum period of two months from today.

¶24

A complete set be supplied by the counsel for the petitioner to learned counsel for both the States.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.

Order dasti under signatures of Court Master attached to the Bench, to learned counsel for the parties.
