Learned counsel submits that land of the petitioners

situated in village Patuhera, Tehsil Bawal, District Rewari was
acquired vide notifications dated 14.7.2011 and 11.7.2012 issued
under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894,

respectively. He contends that the petitioners had raised
construction of their residential houses on the acquired land in
2003, but still the land has not been released from acquisition,
whereas, the lands of other persons in the neighbourhood, who are
similarly situated, have been released. Learned counsel submits
that the authorities be directed to also consider the

petitioners’ case for release of their land.

A perusal of the writ petition shows that the
petitioners have not filed any representation before the

competent authority seeking release of their land.

 In view of the above, we dispose of this writ petition
with a direction to respondent No.2 to treat this writ petition
