(1) The petitioners have impugned the orders dated 31.10.1988 & 12.06.1991 (Annexure P1 & P2). Vide the first order, the petition under Section 7 filed by respondent-Gram Panchayat was allowed and vide second order, the petitioners’ appeal against that order has been dismissed by the appellate authority. A perusal of the order dated 17.09.1991 shows that the petitioners relied upon CWP No.12795 of 1991 which was pending in this Court. The instant writ petition was thus admitted and ordered to be heard along with the said writ petition. Their dispossession was also stayed.

decided by this Court vide order dated 08.05.1992. Those of the writ petitions where the Appellate Authority had allowed the Gram Panchayat’s appeals without hearing the affected parties were allowed whereas the remaining writ petitions including CWP No.12795 of 1991 were ordered to be dismissed.

(3) Since the petitioners themselves relied upon the pendency of the above-stated writ petition, this writ petition also stands dismissed in terms of the order dated 08.05.1992 passed in CWP No.12795 of 1991. Ordered accordingly.
