Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner Balvir Kaur who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 406 and 498-A, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No.58, dated 28.09.2013, registered at Police Station, Women Cell, Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Gurdashan Singh, Police Station, Women Cell, Bathinda, very fairly concedes that in compliance with the order dated 01.01.2014 passed by this Court, the petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the complainant, has joined the investigation and her custodial interrogation is not required in the present case. On asking of the Court, he further submits that the husband of the complainant was arrested and granted bail by the learned court below.
