The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection of their life and liberty.
The case has been received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court with the report that mediation proceedings have failed.
As per the petitioners, the petitioner No.1 is the wife of respondent No.5 and petitioners No.2 and 3 are the children born to her from this marriage. The respondent No.5 in his reply has denied his relations with petitioners. However, in the reply filed by respondents No.1 to 4, the plea of the petitioner No.1 that she is wife of respondent No.5 and petitioners No.2 and 3 are their minor children has been stated to be correct as per police enquiry.
The petitioners have sought protection to their life and liberty. The learned counsel for the private respondents has submitted that the private respondents will not interfere in the life and liberty or cause any threat to the security of the petitioners. The petitioners have also moved an application to this effect to respondent No.2.
As such, this petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.2 to take appropriate action on the representation dated 17.7.2011 (Annexure P/3) of the petitioners and provide them required protection of their life and liberty under law.
