Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 18 dated 26.3.2014 under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Ghanaur, District Patiala.
While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 17.6.2014-:-
“Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, Raj Kumar, son of Amar Chand, resident of Village Nogawan, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 420, 467, 468 and 471, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No. 18, dated 26.3.2014, registered at Police Station, Ghanaur, District Patiala.
Learned counsel contends that from the perusal of the

sale deed it is very much clear that the petitioner had not identified Harwinder Singh as Jatinder Singh, in fact, he had attested the contents of the sale deed only.
Notice of motion for 28.7.2014.
Meantime, in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on ad-interim bail, subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer.
The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions laid down under Section 438(2), Cr.PC.”
Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Baljeet Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 17.6.2014, is made absolute.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
