Mandeep Singh, Jeet Singh, Jatinder Singh @ Meeda Singh , Dalvir Singh and Amandeep Singh were sitting with him. On seeing the complainant, Hardev Singh raised Lalkara and the other persons started giving blows to the complainant, who raised alarm and the people gathered there and on seeing the people, the accused fled away from the spot along with their weapons. The reason for grudge is that the complainant help Kamaljit Singh in the panchayat elections.

During the pendency of the trial, both the parties have entered into compromise, vide compromise deed dated 26.11.2013 (Annexure P-2).

In compliance of order dated 17.02.2014, report of JMIC Payal has been received. As per report, statement of complainant Rupinder Singh and petitioners namely Mandeep Singh, Jatinder Singh @ Meeta, Hardev Singh, Dalvir Singh and Amandeep Singh were recorded. Complainant in his statement, has submitted that he has compromised the matter with accused person. The compromise is with his free will and without any pressure, coercion or undue influence. The complainant has no objection if the F.I.R be quashed against the accused persons. To the same effect is the joint statement of petitioners. Thus this Court has no hesitation in accepting the
