Counsel for the petitioner states that all the retiral benefits, except revised gratuity, amounting to `8707/- have not been, till date, disbursed to the petitioner.
Counsel for the respondents, on instructions from Ms.Madhu, DFSO, Khamano, states that bills for this amount have been prepared and disbursement of the said amount will be made at an early date.
Counsel for the petitioner states that interest on the delayed payment of the retiral benefits has not been paid to the petitioner.
In the light of the above, the present petition is disposed
Civil Writ Petition No.9792 of 2011 : 2 :
of with directions to the respondents to release the amount of `8707/- to which the petitioner is admittedly entitled to as revised gratuity within a period of two months from today. On the aspect of interest on delayed payment, petitioner is held entitled to the same @ 6% per annum from the date of accrual till the date of disbursement. This amount of interest be calculated and released to the petitioner within a period of three months from today.
Copy of this order be given to the counsel for the parties under the signatures of Special Secretary of this Bench.
