Counsel for the parties agree that the medical reimbursement bills, which were submitted by the petitioner, have been accepted and the consequential benefit of reimbursement of amount due has been granted to her. The arrears of salary of the petitioner have also been received by her.

As regards the claim of the petitioner for grant of A.C.P grade, which was withdrawn by the respondents vide order dated 29.4.2011, Annexure P-7, and is under challenge, counsel for the respondents, on written instructions, states that the matter has been

re-considered by the respondents and recommendations have been made to the Director, Public Instructions, Secondary Education, Punjab (respondent No.2) to take a final decision thereon.

In the light of the statement made by counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director, Public Instructions, Secondary Education, Punjab (respondent No.2) to finalise the claim of the petitioner for grant of A.C.P grade, which was withdrawn vide order dated 29.4.2011, Annexure P-7, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. In case the claim of the petitioner is accepted, the consequential benefits be released to her within a further period of one month. However, if the claim is not acceptable to the respondents, a well reasoned and speaking order be passed and conveyed to the petitioner forthwith. The petitioner shall, in those circumstances, be entitled to challenge the said order in accordance with law.
