Present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order and further a direction to allow the regular scale of pay to the petitioner as per directions of this Court in CWP No.7135 of 1998 titled 'Dr. Sanjeev Kumar vs. State of Haryana and others' and to pay arrears with 18% interest thereon and also directing the respondents to count the service rendered by the petitioner from 24.8.1998 onward continuously, for seniority, experience and all other intents and purposes. Further prayer has been made for quashing of Annexure P-8.
This case was adjourned since die on 29.5.2003 to await decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP No.4893 of 1999. This case has now been listed for hearing by the Registry with the report that the Special Leave Petition No. 4893 of 1999 in the case of State of Haryana and others vs. Sanjeev Kumar has been converted into CA

No.1140 of 2005 and the same has been decided on 11.7.2006 along with a bunch of cases the main case being Civil Appeal No.1143 of 2005, State of Haryana and others vs. Polu Ram and another .
A photocopy of the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1143 of 2005, State of Haryana and others vs. Polu Ram and another decided on 11.7.2006 has been placed on record by learned State counsel.
Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned State Counsel are ad idem that this matter is covered by the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Haryana and others vs. Polu Ram and another (supra).
In view of judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, there is no merit in the writ petition.
