The petitioner had filed this writ petition for quashing of order dated 27.2.1992 passed by the Managing Committee of Guru Nanak Khalsa College Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala, relieving him. The petitioner sought a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to keep the petitioner in service continuously w.e.f., the date he joined with all consequential benefits. Vide order dated 31.3.1992, while admitting the writ petition, it was ordered that status
quo with respect to the services of the petitioner would be maintained.
Counsel for the petitioner has informed that after

completing the entire tenure, the petitioner has retired in the year 2003 on attaining the age of superannuation after serving the institution.
In view of said circumstances, this petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous warranting no adjudication.
