The petitioner approached this court seeking quashing of the communications dated 26.7.2011 and 19.9.2011, whereby the candidature of the petitioner was rejected on account of the fact that he had passed Bachelor of Engineering Course from G. R. N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University under Distance Education Programme. It is not in dispute that a Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 1640 of 2008 –Kartar Singh and others v. Union of India and others, decided on 6.11.2012 has held that any qualification obtained from Deemed Universities under Distance Education Programme will not be recognised.
Considering the aforesaid Division Bench judgment of this court, in my opinion, no case for interference is made out in the present petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
