1 . The petitioners claiming themselves to be victims of Sikh Riot 1984 and Red card/Identity card holders have filed the present petition, claiming allotment of LIG/MIG Flats based on the policy dated 29.12.2009/4.01.2010.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners had filed a representation dated 18.06.2013(Annexure P- 13) for the relief as sought in the present writ petition with respondent No. 2/Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. It was urged that no decision thereon has been taken by the said authority so far.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners, perusing the present petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No. 2 to take a decision on the representation dated 18.06.2013(Annexure P-13) filed by the
