Vide this order, I intend to dispose of Crl.Misc.No.M-31109 of 2012 titled as “ Kulwant Singh @ Kanti and others vs. State of Punjab and another and Crl.Misc.No.M-24075 of 2012 titled as “ Kewal Singh and another Vs. State of Punjab and another ” as both these petitions have been filed for quashing of FIR No. 41 dated 4.6.2008 under Sections 323, 324, 34 IPC and Section 326 IPC added lateron, registered at Police

Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur and its cross version to the aforesaid said FIR on the basis of compromise.
Reply on behalf of respondent No.1 filed. It be taken on record. Counsel for the parties haves stated at the Bar that the matter
has been compromised between the parties. This is a personal dispute which has been amicably settled.
So, in view of compromise and in view of authority reported as
Kulwinder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the abovesaid FIR alongwith its cross version stands quashed. Further proceedings, in pursuant to that FIR and cross version also stand quashed.
