The petitioners have solemnized marriage against the wishes of their parents and have sought protection by filing this petition.
On notice, reply has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jalalabad. Statement of respondent No.4-Rano Bai, mother of Kulwinder Kaur-petitioner No.1 has been recorded as Annexure R1 wherein it is stated that Kulwinder Kaur is her daughter who is 20 years of age and Kaur Rupinderis major has performed marriage of her own with Lakhbir 2013.08.27 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
Crl. Misc. No. M-15481 of 2013 [ 2 ] Singh @ Lucky. She has never threatened them after the marriage and has no objection about the said marriage. The petitioners are at liberty to live any where and she will not interfere in their married life.
After going through the statement of Rano Bai, mother of petitioner No.1, no further orders are required to be passed.
The petition is disposed of.
