Learned Counsel for the petitioners does not press the petition on merits, however, confines his prayer to the extent that a direction may be issued to the Director General of Police, Punjab – respondent No.16 to decide the representation Annexure P-12, dated 12.1.2013, within a time bound period.
Without going into the merits of the petition, however, keeping in view the fact that the petitioners have already moved a representation dated 12.1.2013 (Annexure P-12), the Director General of Police, Punjab – respondent No.16 is directed to decide the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
