Petitioner seeks the concession of pre-arrest bail in a case registered at the instance of complainant Jiwan Singh alleging that son of the petitioner received a sum of ` 8 lacs through the petitioner. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had counted the money.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the complainant and perused the police record. The petitioner, at present, is in custody in another FIR of similar nature having duped another person by receiving money with a promise to send him abroad.
In view of the fact that the petitioner is involved in another case of similar nature, it will not be appropriate to grant the concession of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.
Dismissed.
Interim order dated 18.4.2013, is hereby vacated.
