Petitioner is a lady who seeks the concession of regular bail in a case registered at the instance of Mamta Luthra alleging that few boys had committed a dacoity in her house. Petitioner is alleged to have received money from one of the accused namely Amardeep Singh and spent the same on purchase of an Activa Scooter besides a house as she had been handed over a sum of ` 3.50 lacs by said Amardeep Singh. The petitioner has been in custody since 27.08.2012.
Taking into consideration the period of detention suffered by the petitioner and the likelihood of trial taking some time to complete, the petitioner can be granted bail.
The petition is allowed.
The petitioner-Karamjit Kaur is ordered to be released on bail on her
furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court.
