On notice, reply has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) stating that after investigation by DSP-Detective, Amritsar (Rural) it was found that Tarlok Singh and Harjit Singh were innocent and a cancellation report was initiated on 1.8.2013.
In view of the above, no further orders, at this stage, are required to be passed as the petitioners were the complainants. However, petitioners are at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law if the cancellation report is accepted.
The petition is disposed of.
