The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is that respondents No.4 to 6 and others colleagues of their union are interfering in the free and legal business of the petitioner and, thus, violating his constitutional rights. A prayer for issuance of a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to restrain respondents No.4 to 6 from interfering in the free and fair business of the petitioner.

affidavit of Sh. Rajvinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nabha, on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 stating therein that no representation or complaint has been made to the police raising the grievance as has been sought to be raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition. Learned State counsel, however, submits that in case, such a representation is made by the petitioner, the same shall be looked into by the appropriate authority expeditiously.
