The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondent authorities to appoint him a Lecturer in Physics against the reserved post for handicap persons.
Learned counsel appearing for the State has apprised the Court that the petitioner has in fact been granted appointment as Lecturer Physics against the handicap category and an appointment Order dated 12.10.2012 has already been issued. A copy of the same had been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner.
In the light of such factual position, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly. It shall however, be open for the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities to pray for any consequential relief that

strictly in accordance with law.
