Mr. K.L. Arora, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a letter dated 03.02.2012 written by the petitioner to him. The petitioner has stated in his letter that he does not want to pursue his case any more as his retirement is near. A copy of this letter has also been endorsed to the Managing Director of HLRDC, Karnal. The letter is taken on record as Mark-X.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by Mr. K.L. Arora, learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
