The present criminal writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a suitable writ, order or direction especially in the nature of Habeas Corpus for the release of detenue namely Baljinder Singh, son of petitioner who was in the illegal custody of police and confined in a room situated in agricultural land at village Phide Khurd, Tehsil and District Faridkot and further for the issuance of Rowing Writ appointing a Warrant Officer to raid the said premises to get the detenue released from the illegal custody.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to proceed further with this petition as the matter has since been compromise between the parties and main FIR has been quashed.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
