The present petition has been filed for issuing directions to the respondents for grant of emergency parole to the petitioner for a period of four weeks on the ground that his wife is to be operated upon and there is no other family member to look after her.
Notice of motion was issued on 2.4.2012 and in response thereto, reply on behalf of the respondent-State has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State on the basis of reply submits that the case of the petitioner is pending before the higher authorities and no report from the police authority of the concerned area has been received.

respondent-State, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner keeping in view the ailment of his wife and necessary action be taken in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
