This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 5 to take action against respondents No.8 to 17 who have committed the cognizable offence regarding which a FIR No.49 dated 29.1.2011 under Sections 148/149/323/307 IPC and 25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Panipat Sadar, District Panipat.
Affidavit of Paramjit Singh Ahlawat, IPS, D.I.G., State Crime Branch, Haryana, Hisar has been filed by the State. As per para Nos.6 and 7 of the said affidavit, three of the accused were found innocent and five of the accused stand arrested in the aforementioned FIR and presently confined in judicial jail, Panipat. It is further stated that Inspector Jagphool Singh, State Crime Branch (H), Rohtak is conducting further investigation of the case under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, State Crime Branch, (H), Madhuban.
In view of the affidavit filed by the State, the present petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
