Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure invoking inherent jurisdiction seeking direction to the respondents to release five bank accounts of the petitioner, which were seized due to lodging of FIR against him in which he already stood acquitted.

by way of affidavit dated 19.7.2012 of Harmeet Singh Hundal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Nakodar, District Jalandhar, has been filed.
Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Des Raj, Police Station City Nakodar, submits that all the five accounts mentioned by the petitioner in para 8 of the petition already stood released and the same are being operated upon by the petitioner. He further submits that in this view of the matter, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such.
Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that in view of the reply filed on behalf of the State and also keeping in view the statement made by the learned counsel for the State, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of.
In view of the above statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is ordered to be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
