This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing FIR No. 51 dated 2.2.2007 under Sections 452, 323, 506 and 34 IPC registered at Police Station, Manimajra Chandigarh, on the basis of compromise, along with all subsequent proceedings arising from that FIR.
Affidavit of Lakhmir Singh Dhillon respondent No.2 has been filed in court today and the same is taken on the record. Respondent No.2 is also present in Court in person. He has been identified by his counsel. It is also stated at the bar that Lakhmir

Singh Dhillon, respondent No.2 is an Advocate and as per affidavit, the parties have arrived at a compromise. This is a personal dispute which has been amicably settled.
So in view of the above circumstances and in view of authority reported as,” Kulwinder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others ” 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the above said FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stands quashed.
