This is an application for anticipatory bail in case bearing First Information Report No.143 dated June 2, 2012 under Sections 420/120-B of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station Patti, District Tarn Taran.
On August 7, 2012, this Court passed the following order:-
“Learned counsel for the petitioners has urged that petitioners are ladies. Allegations against them are that they along with their husbands are in unauthorised occupation of the land owned by the complainant. So, no offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code is made out.
Notice of motion for 1.10.2012.
Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioners Sarabjit Kaur, Kuldip Kaur and Ninder Kaur alias Narinder Kaur shall be released on bail by Arresting Officer to his satisfaction. They shall abide by the conditions laid down under Section 438 (2) (i) (ii) and (iii) Cr.PC.”
Learned State counsel has stated that pursuant to the aforesaid order, petitioners have joined the investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation.
In view of above, order dated August 7, 2012 is made
absolute.
